    You’re right. Not everything.

    But this is.

a convenient cop out is what this is. You think someone as dumb as her could really keep a secret like that? You think she’s smart enough to have Opsec standards? You really believe she’s using burner phones and dead drops to communicate with Moscow? She can’t read above a fifth grade level and she’s outsmarting the three letter agencies and secret service?

This is an amendment she presented:

No funding shall be made available to Ukraine unless restrictions on ethnic minorities’, including Hungarians in Transcarpathia, right to use their native languages in schools are lifted."

If she’s so dumb, where does it come from?

        Transcarpathia? Seriously?

Boy I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention or not, but she ain’t exactly keeping it a secret. This ain’t a spy novel, you don’t even need to hide it. You just take the donations wherever they come.

You literally do. That’s the whole hubbub with AIPAC, is they weren’t required to register as a foreign agent, because it allows them to fund politicians, which is otherwise illegal. Taking foreign money is illegal you can be bribed by Americans all you want, but not foreigners.

Russia tends to use useful idiots. She doesn’t need to outsmart anyone. She doesn’t even need to know she’s working for Russia. But somehow she always ends up doing things that disproportionately benefits Russia.

Dude. This is America. You can be bribed legally. She doesn’t hide any of it. Maybe it’s hidden from you because you purposefully cover your eyes and make noise anytime anyone tries to make you aware of it. That doesn’t mean it’s actually a secret.

That they got caught, and they were a lot more intelligent than MTG, so I’d expect her to do the same by now. She’s a useful idiot, not a Russian agent.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of it’s absence.

they were a lot more intelligent than MTG

Good thing it was the politician that got picked up according to the linked article and not some underling, right? Otherwise your point may be considered ignorant of the facts. But I’m sure you actually read the article, so no worries on your front.

I mean, yeah a non-Russian agent could definitely do that, what Ukraine is doing is fucked up. That said, no way in hell she knows wtf that means or where Transcarpathia is, so that’s pretty damning for sure. They should tap her phone like they do to the rest of us normies and find out where she’s getting it from.

You cannot be bribed by foreign governments legally…

True, but you can be bribed. All that has to be done is for them to not register as a foreign agent, which is illegal (for them, not the receiver) but it gets discovered reasonably regularly. You can find plenty of sources for this happening, and any reasonable person knows that it’s being done by all governments everywhere.

But you’re accusing me of being a Russian in another comment…

That’s a negative on that one. I pointed out what instance you were from. I suspect you’re American. I just suspect that you hate absolutely anything America and love the Russian authoritarian oligarchy.

Are you even American? Seems weird you were posting at noon Moscow time while most Americans were sleeping, huh?

Yep. I am. I have a weird sleep schedule. Not that it matters where I’m from or where you’re from. Anyone can be reasonable from anywhere. You aren’t taking a reasonable position (aka, based on reason, not feelings), but it has nothing to do with where you’re from, which again I assume is the US or at least western Europe.

Edit: Ironically, this was the next post on my feed. A German politician taking Russian money. I don’t know German law, but I’m sure it’s illegal there as well, yet it happened.
