A post to let Kuro know how much we appreciate Connect for Lemmy. Thanks for your hard work and the quasi daily updates.

Connect is by far the best lemmy client!

I agree, connect literally is the best Lemmy app out there. I kept bouncing around trying them all up to now, but always came back to this and now to stay. The crazy fast updates and feature implementation is a plus! When does Kuro sleep??

Connect for Lemmy has such great customization features, and Kuro is a dedicated and responsive developer. Definitely my favorite Lemmy app for Android. It’s exciting and rewarding to see this app improve.

If you are so inclined, go to the bottom of the Settings screen for links to Rate the app and Support the developer with a donation!

I see the progress since a month ago, it’s come a long way and I’m really starting to feel at home here.

All I need is the ability to customise my swipes (I’m forever accidentally bookmarking by mistake) and I’ll never look elsewhere again.

Great app, and amazing for it to get to this stage of quality so early.

This is included in the latest beta (1.0.98). However, it seems that opening links is broken in this version (can view comments of posts but actually opening the post itself just brings up webview which doesn’t load) so maybe wait until a bugfix is released.

I had like 5 apps at one point, just trying out what worked best for me. They all have positives and negatives but I found that I was spending like 75% of my time on connect. So I ditched the other ones and am sticking with this. Bang up job with features and updates.

How does the buy a coffee thing work? If I buy 3 coffees, kuro gets $15? Or some percentage of that?

I keep checking out other apps. I like to see the new ones and the improvements to others.

But I just keep on coming back to Connect. It’s great!

I had been kinda hopping between a few clients to figure out which I liked best, but I haven’t opened anything but Connect all week.

And sometime this week, I realized there had been an update which made respond to replies I’ve gotten so much easier! Tapping replies in my inbox to see the context before replying, having the reply box pop up right there - it was everything I wanted but hadn’t gotten around to asking for.

Thank you so much for this great app, I’m really enjoying it ❤️

I’ve been loving it for a couple weeks since I decided not to wait for Boost any longer. I think it’s a fantastically appointed app.

Connect is great. I just wish I could disable the confirmation on exit but otherwise it’s perfect.

The confirmation on exit (back button when on the main screen) is why I stayed with this instead of the other apps I’ve tried!

But agreed, having something like that as an option makes sense.
