Original time line has 365.2421897… days per year. That makes it too easy to skip leap years every now and then. So what if it was the opposite direction?

    this isnt really a day problem its a minute issue. to make noon work we have to cut a minute off every day or by the time we get to the other side of the sun we would be back to front.

      Rotation of the earth around its axis and rotation around the sun are different. (Technically there would be a very small change in solar day, but really the question is about rotation around the Sun.)
