Think about it for a few minutes. Actually think about it. What you are doing so far is the opposite of thinking; you are taking a very simple concept and attempting to confuse yourself so that you fail to grasp it, because honestly processing it would require grappling with very difficult ideas and feelings, like confronting your own daily cruelty and violence.
