Which of these have you seen?

I watched and rather enjoyed Reacher without ever realizing the Kingston connection. In Crimson Peak, we stood in for a Victorian era Buffalo NY if I’m not mistaken. I watched Alias Grace and a lot of it was shot around the Penn. I remember Blues Brothers 2000 had an opening scene in front of Millhaven. And I think I’ve seen a few Murdoch Mysteries shot here?

I had no idea about Blues Brothers 2000! I love that movie. I saw Kick-Ass as well and never made the connection. I’ll have to watch some of these other ones. Also, seeing Tom Green do his street comedy in Kingston would be hilarious.

Yeah BB2K was a lot of fun (as was the original)! I guess it’s not surprising parts were filmed here given it’s Dan Aykroyd’s home town. :)

Looking at that list again, I’m wondering how complete it is? Like I could’ve sworn they were filming some Star Trek episodes around here at one point but I don’t see them on the list.

It looks like some of the results are due to hits for Kingston Road in Toronto. Virgin Suicides and Kick Ass for example, I didn’t see Kingston Ontario. I love the idea for the post though, I wonder if the search could be tweaked to return better results?
