Given all the hype about Mastodon being all about free speech etc, I can confirm that the official Mastodon instance, Mastodon.social is moderated by the same suits that control other major platforms.

If you are deep into conspiracy theory, you will be aware that Reddit conspiracy subs automatically censor anything that suggests that people of Phoenician origin are running the world. Mind you, this is a group that disappeared ages ago, and no presently existing group claims descent from them openly.

This is because a very interesting and convincing conspiracy theory regarding this emerged sometime back (Dive in at your own risk).

And so, I often post this conspiracy theory to check if a platform or community is being controlled by the same cabals. Its a neat little trick that serves the purpose.

Imagine my surprise when I posted the theory to two well known conspiracy instances (1,2)on Mastodon on the same day I created my account.

My Mastodon account was banned the very same day because posting a legit conspiracy theory on two instances that were specifically for conspiracy theories was “misleading information.”

I am sure that most of these conspiracy instances are also run by the suits (as in the case of Reddit).

I’m not saying this in a demeaning way whatsoever, nor do i expect you to take this seriously, but: Try to talk to more people offline, spend less time online. Try to see a psychologist. We all get roped along into some irrational thoughts in our life, there’s no shame in it. These conspiracies are not rational in any way.

It’s funny how you’re getting downvoted for posting about an instance of banhammering on a /c/ that specifically asked people to post about those experiences.

I posted on /r/conspiracy on Reddit and started getting banned on other subs as well…they don’t like the proles putting the puzzle pieces together, I guess.
