I saw no spam, but lots of people talking about it.
And fediadmins begging for stopping open registrations.
The instances I joined to are blessed with awesome admins and good filters. I only encountered a spam account once in a smaller instance. Since it’s small, reporting got fast reponse from the admin.
Honestly, the spam problem seems to me like my average Twitter experience but with less porn.
