The average asking price for a rental unit in Canada reached a record $2,042 last month amid continued interest rate hikes and population expansion, according to a new report by Rentals.ca and Urbanation.

    just checked craigslist vancouver and it’s indeed around 3~4x more(even compare to my last rental place at 2015, which is 2BR $950/m) There are not enough natural or artificial(minimum wage) salary raise that can catch this amount.
