Not sure, but lemmy.world is experiencing a sudden and massive slowdown atm, starting about 15 minutes ago. Mostly 504 and now 502 errors.

Can you send me a screenshot? It sounds similar to a problem that I have noted that occurs when the browser has saved one of the older .css stylesheets.
Can you try browsing in incognito mode, or clicking on ‘Clear cookies and site data…’ to clean up the files?
If this is the issue, then it happened with the latest update. I am not sure whether there is a way to ‘force’ the browsers to clean up these files.
If this does not help - what theme are you using? The latest update also broke some of the themes.
Currently using winternord theme. Clearing site data doesn’t help. It’s not that bad tbh, usable.
Ah, the winternord theme is broken… I should probably remove the old custom themes now to avoid this.
