I’ve been to Elkford, BC. It’s a beautiful place nestled in Elk Valley. Surrounded by the Rockies on all sides and many hours from any city, it’s like being on a different planet. What I remember most was the enormous mines and equipment I drove past jut before entering Elkford.

Would be a shame to further destroy the Elk Valley wilderness with a new mine and the world with the coal extracted from it.
