President Biden was repeatedly interrupted by protesters who railed against the war between Hamas and Israel during an abortion rights rally in Manassas, Virginia, on Tuesday.
Go protest against Hamas and Netanyahu. They’re the only ones actually killing people. The U.S. stood by its allies. Hamas fucked around and found out. They wanted Netanyahu to overreact and level Gaza. What should the U.S. do? Hold an ally at gunpoint and say “don’t fight back”?
Biden’s administration is advocating for a two-state solution. A Trump administration would advocate for nothing for Palestine.
But sure, go ahead and enable Trump to make things worse. I honestly don’t know how you folks sleep at night. Ignorance must be one hell of a sedative.
We should stop giving them money and weapons while they use that money and fire those weapons at ambulances and hospitals
What the fuck is wrong with you? “Stand by our allies?” I dont give a shit who your ally is, if they start slaughtering children and innocents they can get fucked, and they can certainly get their bloody, murderous hands out of our fucking wallet.
Funding genocide is an action that trumps any words. They can advocate whatever they like when they are spending my tax dollars on slaughter of humans, the words mean fuckall.
No seriously, what the actual fuck is wrong with you? Did your mother beat you with a mallet? Do you drink lead?
We don’t give a fuck about what Trump might do. We are concerned what genocide Joe is actually doing. Biden has the ability to pull back their government welfare checks and refuse to provide weapons like Reagan did, but the self proclaimed Zionist has done neither. In fact boosting money and bypassing Congress 2 times to provide weapons.
While your snarky comment is technically right, you seem to be intentionally ignoring this person’s actual point.
Sure, they’ll still genocide without the US’ help. But that doesn’t mean we should continue helping them?
Besides, having a country that tends to ally with Israel stop providing them weapons might actually make them consider their actions more. Doubtful, but still infinitely more useful than continuing to give aid.
Sure, they’ll still genocide without the US’ help. But that doesn’t mean we should continue helping them? [sic]
Where did I say we should? I agree that we should stop providing them weapons.
But to pretend that the US (and by extension, Joe Biden) is somehow a cause of the continuation of the war is to knowingly inflate the US’s role and engage in a fallacy of understated evidence. Netanyahu is fighting a holy war, and he’ll sacrifice as many children and zealots upon that altar to maintain his grip on power.
That’s the point. People need to stop talking and acting like it’s Joe Biden’s fault or that he has some intrinsic power to stop it, because that’s factually incorrect.
You asked what it would accomplish if the US stops giving Israel money (which I read as aid in general)
The accomplishment would that the US would no longer be giving money and weapons to a country committing genocide. I did not say that this would stop the genocide, I realize that Biden has no intrinsic ability to stop it. But we can absolutely blame him for contributing still. It is absolutely Biden’s fault that he is using his 60 days discretion for funding military action before the senate weighs in, and it isn’t some logical fallacy to say that we should not be doing that.
Also, Biden could actually start guiding US diplomats to pressure Israel more by not vetoing UN resolutions that would aid Palestine/attempt to curb Israel’s genocidal action.
Just like with any other issue, multiple layers of effort can help reduce said issue. Masks, airflow, testing, and vaccines don’t stop COVID, but they do a pretty good job at reducing risk and illness. Although the US cannot unilaterally stop Israel from bombing the hell out of innocents, the US can certainly do a few things to make it clear that they should stop.
Are you aware they can and do make their own weapons, and even sell some to the US? I ask, because based on your single sentence, it seems you like you aren’t.
“Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (perjorative, perjorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (perjorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect!”
Where is your condemnation of the people actually committing the genocide? Do you call out Netanyahu, or the IDF? What about the citizens of Israel who support this? Why aren’t they the ones you are focusing on.

What do you suppose this would accomplish?
Can’t very well bomb anyone without bombs
Do you suppose they will have no bombs if the US stops giving them money?

If the US stops supplying them weapons they wouldnt have any to use.
Are you aware they can and do make their own weapons, and even sell some to the US? I ask, because based on your single sentence, it seems you like you aren’t.
As a Canadian, chill out.
Brain dead take.
Yeah dude, let’s all shut the fuck up about the genocide. Normal take.
Nah, just stop trying to put it on Biden. No american president would have done any less to support israel.

Yeah, they all have a list of things that they should be dragged in front a court for, except maybe Jimmy Carter.
Calling me names doesn’t change reality.

2nd rule 3 violation. Temp ban. Stop calling other users psychopaths.

It’s less kosher to commit genocide.
Removed, rule 3:
“Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (perjorative, perjorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (perjorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect!”
So maybe it’s time to get upset about your country’s defacto support of genocide.
Not my country, but I can recognise reality.
