Russian President Vladimir Putin, running for a new six-year term in an election that his opponents say is a parody of democracy, said on Tuesday that past U.S. elections had been rigged by postal voting.

“In the United States, previous elections were falsified through postal voting … they bought ballots for $10, filled them out, and threw them into mailboxes without any supervision from observers, and that’s it,” Putin said, without providing evidence.

    The one that putin and the russian state interfered with was definitely rigged. The 2016 election the most ballots were cast for Hillary Clinton. The undemocratic and likely paid off electoral college handed the win to trump. They should all be investigated for taking bribes or for being blackmailed.

          Which ones are in any way similar to what Putin is talking about?

          Putin isn’t talking about insurrection or trying to get election officials to override the popular vote. He is making shit up about voter fraud that has already been disproven multiple times since 2020 in an attempt to support Trump’s lies about a ‘stolen election’.
