The spokesperson for Egypt’s foreign ministry says Cairo will remain in control of its borders after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed during a press conference earlier this evening that Israel is considering taking control after the war over the Philadelphi Corridor, which runs for 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) along the Gaza-Egypt border.

“Egypt fully controls its borders and controls it completely, and these issues are subject to legal and security agreements between the countries involved, so any talk on this matter is generally subject to scrutiny and is responded to with declared positions,” Ahmed Abu Zeid says during an interview with Egyptian television channel Sada El-Balad.

It feel as if Netanyahu want to expand the war to justify being in power and mask the genocide attempt with greater conflicts getting more finding.

I think this is an increasingly widely held attitude. Everyone in Israel says that when this ends, he’s done. He’s been facing serious corruption charges and staying PM by getting support from the far right has been all that’s kept him out of jail.

It seems like many people have observed that if Netanyahu believes that he’s going to jail when the war ends, the war will never end.

I also think he’s counting on Trump winning in November, and then the media will stop paying attention to Israel because of the insane shit that will be happening in the US.
