I have been wanting to do this but I also think my body will just think I haven’t eaten because I haven’t chewed anything, you know what I mean?

Sadly my stimulation seeking has never given me that issue, even Adderall doesn’t really diminish my hunger. I think most of my “hunger” is just my stomach wanting a stim

Have you ever tried some sort of stimmy food like pepitas? They’re kinda a pain to eat if you’re not used to it. I can do one at a time and don’t have the best success rate of even getting the seed out 😂.

Pumpkin seeds are sensory hell for me sadly. I usually get by with many beverages - first coffee, 2nd decaf coffee midmorning, decaf diet coke in the afternoon, maybe a lemonade seltzer later. Baby carrots are a good munch for me, cherries. Apple and peanut butter.

Yep, I’m the same way. An IT person in my life got way into Soylent. I tried it for a while and ended up just eating double because if I don’t have solid food I don’t feel like I ate.

If it weren’t for the weed, I don’t think I’d ever eat, my autistic ass just wouldn’t think of it.
But also if all it takes is ripping open a packet and pouring stuff out to have ready to chew food (but not liquid or mush, the texture 😫), it’s a winner. Because eventually I get to the point where I feel sick and NEED FOOD NOW or I’ll throw up acid.
    Brains are weird.

Consistently relying on weed to give you an appetite can make you dependent on it to feel hungry. Note how most heavy long term smokers you know are thin as rails.

If you happen to have this problem, however, a meal replacement drink like Soylent can be a godsend. It’s pretty hard to eat a nutritious 2000 calories if you have to wait until you’re really high at 9pm to start eating.

Absolutely. I’ve been taking regular breaks after smoking constantly for about a year and it took a couple days to actually have an appetite again

I’d much rather be dependent on weed thanks (and am for other medical needs) lol

    Weird day… I’ve eaten:

    • Fiber powder
    • 4 eggs with hot sauce
    • 1 can of sardines in olive oil
    • 1 can of tuna
    • 3 roasted almonds
    • A few bites of sauerkraut

I added some lettuce, kale, mustard, upped to 3 cans of sardines and a few handfuls of nuts a day. Felt awesome. Woke up early and wanted to work out. Slept an hour less and felt more rested. Lots of extra free time with no cooking or eating out. I kept eating pretty similar until my next doctors’ appointment. My blood work came back perfect except I was low on sodium. Weird?

This weekend I visited some friends and they offered me an ordinary 5% beer. I felt drunk after half the can and didn’t even want to finish it. Not normal for me at all.

TL;DR: I got superpowers but alcohol is Kryptonite now.

Literally my conversation with my wife last night.

Me when I got home from work: I was good today! I bought some new, low calorie rice cake snacks with flax, chia, and quinoa! A serving is only 90 cal and they taste awesome!

My wife: I bought a 10 pack of king cones…

Me: …I also bought hot pockets…

Breakfast was two slices of raisin toast

Lunch was 30-40 sping rolls, legit too many to count

Dinner was some Mexican chickpea bowl thing

I think I fucked up with a few too many sping rolls??

Yesterday, I had half a box of cheez-it duos (sharp cheddar and parmesan) at about 2pm…after getting up about 8am and going for a run at 11am. Didn’t eat again until I got home from picking up my wife at the airport at 10:30pm. I ate about 3 servings of tater tots. Didn’t eat again until 6pm today. Fucking hell that’s not great.

We had same breakfast as every day (almonds and rice cakes) then lunch was a turkey sandwich with way too much Mayo, dinner was Chinese food.

    Ngl actually pretty good today.

Then of course I ended the day by eating about 7 servings of MNMs so maybe not the best day

Started out nice, english muffins, tea, cereal.

Lunch was kinda last minute and incredibly late, left over green bean casserole and a veggie chicken sandwich.

Dinner though, dinner is going to be wild.I’m either going to make another green bean casserole or some minute rice depending on how late I end up making it… So probably rice.

Mix with soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, then add some chicken, scallions, and some bean sprouts and you’ve got a damn tasty dinner.

Great simple stir fry recipe I use at work. I do recommend orange marmalade over OJ though. Thickens a little bit better, if you do use oj, you may want to thicken your sauce with a little corn starch

It’s different each time, sometimes hit sauce, sometimes Alfredo sauce, usually veggies though.

Sometimes chicken, but that mostly depends on if I’ve got the motivation or the left overs.
