Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t mind the 7-inning doubleheader format. It made for a different feel to have the compressed games, and it was a bit less of a slog to watch both.
I was not a fan but admittedly I’m a bit old school.
I agree! Unpopular opinion or not, I thought it had a fun, unique feel.
So naturally to expose my bot’s weaknesses the Jays had to play a double header today and the bot’s not set up for it. For today I’ll just update the post description and add pitchers and lineups and we can continue the conversation here.
Ok all I needed to do was comment, now it’s a blowout…in the 11th inning as we all predicted.
Hey I subscribed but why am I pending? New to Lemmy.
I believe that’s an ongoing issue between certain instances. The whole idea of federation is that you can subscribe to any community on any connected federated instance, but there’s been some growing pains. Unfortunately it’s out of my hands, it’s just a bug in the code that’s running lemmy.world and lemmy.ca. I don’t think it effectively changes anything though, you should be able to interact within the community like anyone else. Thanks for subscribing!
How much more stressful can this get? Still another 9 innings to go tonight! Second game is gonna be a blowout now. Just seems inevitable.
