I’m running Graphene on a Pixel 6. I lost it and someone opened it somehow and called two of my contacts to give it back.

I’m a bit confused how this even happened. When I got the phone back, they were going through my contacts. I checked app usage stats and they went through a banking app (not missing money), maps, signal, etc.

Is there a way to figure out how they even unlocked my phone?

Not sure about locking on disconnect, but there’s the opposite: Smart Lock can keep the device unlocked if a specified Bluetooth device is connected, it’s within a geo-fence or ‘on-body detection’ thinks it’s in your pocket.

It’s been ages since was discontinued, but I used to use Avasts mobile security app for all sorts of remote control. Get location, Lock/unlock, take a photo and send it to Avasts interfaces, force the phone to call a particular number, start blaring a ‘this device has been lost/stolen’ alarm, and more.
