Not sure about “rockstar” though, as I’ve never heard of them. I’m probably just out of touch though.
Rockstar doing quite a bit of heavy lifting here but I guess he’s closer than any of us. Glass Beach has around 500k monthly listeners on Spotify - nothing to sneeze at, but hardly making the zeitgeist.
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. I’m sure they’re a popular band, but “star” to me implies a pretty broad level of recognition among people who follow an art. It’s all just semantics though and I’m mostly being cheeky.
