You’re posting in the home assistant community, instead of acting like a know it all, at least have the self awareness to know what you’re talking about.
you’re right my comment was definitely placed in a community that would not receive it well lol. Did not realize it was this community. Did not realize it was self hosted 😓

Guess that by now you have realized that Matter in fact is all about local control without the need of a cloud.
The whole point of matter is that it’s local-only control
if not locked in a cloud service…

If you are running it through Home Assistant- or indeed Apple HomeKit - it’s all local - no data collection
I’ll admit I did not realize I was posting in the homassistant community and that that was what this was for 😓
