I’m the original mod and creator of this ‘sub lemmy’ https://lemmy.ca/c/leaf_nation. The other mod requested approval from Lemmy.ca admins to take over the account in the past. However, he hasn’t been active for at least 3 months in this instance, and he/she even added a bot to the account. I’m applying to have him removed as mod and additionally the bot. I’m here to stay. Thank-you. I’d like to add, in no relation to this request, that at the end of the month, I’ll become a monthly donor to the server. The reason for my absence, since I joined 3 years ago, was simply me waiting to see what direction Reddit was taking philosophically in terms of their going public. I was hounded on that platform because of my political views (deleted my 13+ year account) and was hoping this instance would be different. So, thank-you for being reasonable.
FYI we’re not accepting donations yet, but it’s coming very soon! The balls are in motion to get that going, but probably not by the end of this month. Following for sure.
