Right now, that just heats up a kettle that’s designed to be heated up by an element underneath it. If I have an electric kettle on that burner? I got a melted kettle and possibly a fire. Important safety tip: One of the most common causes of fire in the home is people putting stuff on the stove that isn’t meant to be there.
