Are you sure he isn’t a Catholic priest?

Never mind he went to court at least. It seems that of all the horrors he didn’t rape them or the ones that he did were the ones too scared to testify.

    Religion poisons everything.

I am about sick of people singling out Catholics; not because Catholics are innocent, but because it’s religious institutions, in general. Cat’s are not the first or worst, it’s time to stop pretending they are.

They are the butt of the jokes but others are just as guilty of abuse both sexual, physical, and mental.

Muslim Imams rape young boys. Christian youth pastors sexually assault children in their charge. In my opinion the only difference is that Catholics have designed a worldwide network to move abusers around, knowing they would assault and rape again.

Catholics have designed a worldwide network to move abusers around

This is the reason Could Catholics get singled out. They actively work against efforts to punish the abusers or correct the behavior. When youth pastors are caught, there are repercussions.

I call bs. I’ve read plenty of articles that offenders repented so were welcomed back to the same church, often in the same capacity.

Protestants aren’t better in this respect. If they had the infrastructure they would also move abusers around to protect them. If the only reason someone doesn’t commit mass murder is a lack of means, that doesn’t make them a moral person, it makes them immoral and thankfully incapable.

Religion attracts pedos and rapists due to being a great access point to vulnerable people and children.

About time society stopped pretending like it ain’t so and get the wood chipper going. We need to do a cleanase as society.

Imagine your kid being abused and you taking like a good little bitch becuase pedophile priest said he dindu nuffin and kid made it up 🤡🤡🤡

But hey daddy will fix this by spying on your phone

I guess they get singled out because the church did it “better” than anyone else did. The numbers of kids who were raped is staggering, in some places over a percent of the children were of the total population.

Then give the victims voice and credit for being the ones who spoke up, because religious institutions existed before Christianity. Go see what the old testament says makes rape of kids ok, eg.

Yeah other religions dabbled in horror but Christianity was the GOAT. You don’t rule 5.5 out of the 6 habitable continents by being nice, you do it by making sure everyone who disagrees is murdered.

Indeed, this is not about this or that faith. It is about power. Wherever people have power over other people, abuse happens. Faith is just one of many possible ways.
