The House of Representatives, by the narrowest of margins, voted Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the first Cabinet secretary to be impeached in almost 150 years.
Impeaching somebody over their boss’ policy decisions doesn’t seem like a correct use of the procedure to me, but finding a scapegoat to punsh over a crisis that republicans don’t want solved has at least the appearance of doing something, so bravo for that.
