This year’s talent in the rookies makes summer league exciting.
I agree the overall level is high.
For the Raptors in rebuild in particular though, it will be interesting to see who they take on for summer league contracts and if there are any they might keep for the 905.
I’ve been exasperated to the point of not wanting to watch as we saw potential squandered in recent seasons as minutes were used to reward and punish rather than develop. Toronto’s rep as a place to grow and be invested in has really suffered, so it will be interesting to see how the front office and new coaching team work to turn that player development rep back to a positive.
How things go down in summer league will be an important early signal as to how serious the Raptors are on development.
