Oil of clove will numb the pain and no need for a prescription. Get the tooth pulled it is far cheaper.

I got a root canal and a temporary crown, a few years later I got a crown, many years later the crown came off because there wasn’t enough tooth to anchor it. I got the tooth pulled but I had waited so long that the tooth started getting absorbed into my jaw and it took 4-5 hours of hammering to break it out of my jaw. The dentist needed to take breaks from the hammering.

My advice is don’t waste the time doing all the other steps when you will just need it pulled later. If you can get the tooth without it being broken you may get to make a custom implant in the future.

      Oil of clove??

Just go to the fucking dentist, even third world countries have public healthcare for such extreme issues.

I am constantly amazed at this for the US. I’m from Honduras, and most dentist stuff is like 20 bucks, with some more intricate things running you maybe 60 to 90 usd. I’ve literally never spent more than that on a dentist visit in my life, and I’ve been to at least 5 dentists in all 30 years, stayed loyal to two of them because they have been so good, they’re the kind of people you just stick to.

If you work shift work a dentist being open could be 10 hours from now and dental pain is excruciating now. A 24 hour supermarket may be open but the pharmacist might lock away analgesics, oil of clove isn’t locked up because it isn’t a drug.

It gets you through a night of pain until you can get to the dentist. Unless your first world country has 24/7 dentists.
