I just posted a nice post

I asked for speculations. I received nitpicking.

Then my post was removed. Citing “sealioning and having an agenda”. No details offered about what or how.

But it was suggested that I contact the moderator who removed it if I have any questions.

But the name of the moderator was not provided.

Stupid upon stupid. Stupid membership and moderators. Stupid meat between 2 slices of stupid bread.

You people are too stupid to pour piss out of a boot.

So… You do realize that it’s fairly easy to spot sealioning agenda posts? Do you understand why a community might find those posts objectionable when they cause drama?

If you’re not a sealioning agenda poster, then view this as the community informing you of their standards, and either adjust, or leave.

Yea I don’t agree with the downvotes because it goes against the spirit of the community, unless there’s an obvious agenda that I missed

The answers were generally valid though.

It’s very hard to decouple the hormones’ effects for those that are necessary for life and the specific psychological things you mentioned. Neurobiology is very hard to work with and that’s just with electrical signaling. Chemical signaling is a whole other complex mess to try and control, and it really seems like it wouldn’t be possible. Like sure maybe it is possible to redesign life without nitrogen, but there’s no way to predict what complications that might have

I think your intent was more “if we could”, in which case it yes might help reduce the issues you mentioned, or it might not. It’s hard to test because we can’t see what the alternative is.

It’s also possible for people to be resilient and understanding without messing with hormones, which is a much simpler solution without the issues above
