Not going to happen when they have modders do it for them and they know it. Sorry to be the pessimist
Nah, they already did the same thing with Skyrim. The modders released a bunch of graphical update patches and then a few years later they basically just did an official release of the high res textures that honestly were on par or worse than what the modders had done in like week 3.
I think what allowed Bethesda to do it was the switch from Skyrim to Skyrim Special Edition.
