But why do any of that when you can just type in the address yourself and see that it works? Are you one of those people that get to every site on the internet by typing it in google?
No I was looking for something on google first, which linked to an old reddit thread. That didn’t work so I went straight to the site in the address bar, same error. I know it was something that lots of us were anticipating after the 3rd party app fiasco so I checked a few of the “is reddit down?” sites and no word…then posted here to see.
It’s not really a big deal. I hate reddit’s new UI, which is why I signed up to lemmy in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I did google it. I had heard rumours they were going to force people to “new” reddit. Was just asking…
