    I read a while ago that the theory is that we are used to talk with people face to face, except when we are walking side by side

    It was an Instagram post or something like that so I’m not sure how true that is

      Hmm, something in our lizard brain is searching for the other party? Probably the most logical explanation I’ve heard so far.

        I actually interpreted it as if we were talking to someone at our side (shoulder to shoulder), we’re typically walking somewhere. So I’m wondering if we are holding a phone up to the side of our head our lizard brain thinks we’re walking somewhere while talking to somebody. 🤔
