Ottawa police are investigating a Saturday night shooting at a wedding reception that left two Toronto men dead and injured six others.

    Ottawa, with a homicide rate of 1.34 for every 100,000 people, ranked ninth out of the 12 largest cities in Canada. The city recorded 15 homicides last year, up from 12 in 2020.
