The summer and winter are both beautiful times for very different reasons! Yes winter is cold but it’s also beautiful and is really a wonderful way to see Yellowknife with the aurora and warm food indoors. Plus in March there is a winter festival and a snow castle on the frozen lake. Ice fishing and dog sledding. While in summer you have massive pristine wild lakes with massive fish, amazing hiking and summer festivals. Come whenever!
