    No patient care should be affected by their ability to pay

    That’s literally the underlying concept behind the Canadia medical system.

    The problem has been successive governments chipping away at the ability to live up to those noble ideals.

      Successive provincial governments chipping away …

      It’s the provinces that direct how healthcare transfer payments are spent. And don’t forget that Trudeau gave every one of them extra BILLIONS even tho none of them would sign a deal promising that money would be spent on healthcare alone.

        tons of cutbacks happen under liberal governments… the least they could do is restoring funding…

        we keep voting the same 2 parties in over and over expecting different results

          Imo we need to get rid of fptp for anything else.

          And I guess I was more focused on ontario where the cons have been open about wanting to privatize healthcare
