He didn’t have to. He just needed to put Trump in charge of the US.

Are you serious? Which part doesn’t make sense to you? The part where Trump is predictably escalating things with Iran…or the part where Putin helped put him in office in the first place?

Both TBH, you’re literally saying that Putin put Trump into office so that he could instigate tensions with Iran and increase the market for Russian oil lol

No. I’m saying he put Trump into office so that he could be used to do whatever most benefits himself and Russia. You know that when you cultivate an asset and put them in a position of power, it isn’t necessarily with a specific objective in mind, right? You put them in that position so that no matter what happens, you have someone there to steer things in your favor. Putting Trump in office just conveniently opens all kinds of doors.

Whether Trump attacking Iran was just a happy coincidence, or Putin actually suggested it in order to destabilize the oil markets…the outcome is, Putin is definitely getting his money’s worth out of Trump being President. No matter what Trump does, it always somehow benefits Russia in the end. That’s what I’m saying.

Ah okay. That’s still firmly planted in BlueAnon conspiracy-theory territory, but at least your logic here makes way more sense. Thanks for explaining your position!
