I explained that in Alberta I saw my family doc who referred me to a dermatologist. They did the biopsy and subsequent surgery. And that I now go for yearly check ups.
She responded: ohhhh ya you can do that for individual spots
I didn’t know how to respond
This made no sense to me. Did she not go for an individual spot? Did she not say she’s going to a plastic surgeon??
I missed this whole thing, can someone catch me up? Is she back to implying she has cancer again? Just in time for the approaching cancer awareness month in April? I’m confused. I gather she’s also pushing one of those full body scans every half-assed influencer and D grade celeb promotes?
Anyway, I’m confused. Don’t you need a referral from your doctor or a dermatologist for a biopsy (unless it’s your own decision to have something non-cancerous/non worrisome removed)?
This is DISGUSTING if it’s some kind of promo related stunt, like have some ethics man.
I haven’t been watching her because she’s so incredibly annoying but went and watched the skin check story. The place she went is a private clinic so people have to pay for it but since she tagged her friend she, most likely, did not. I suspect she wants to go to a plastic surgeon because the spot is visible since her job is taking off her clothes in the bathroom and filming it she doesn’t want a big scar. This is just my opinion. She kept gesturing to her upper chest/front of her shoulder area. Your experience is the path most Canadians follow. We’ll have to see how long it takes for her referral to ‘plastics’.
