    That being as it is, he DID have a qualified armorer on staff. She failed her job obviously but she was specifically hired to do this safely.

      I don’t think “qualified” is a word to describe an armoror that allows a live gun on set.

        “Qualified” means she had the qualifications required to do the job. It doesn’t mean they are good at the job.
