I think there is $1.39 going to apple for disk space that I do not use other than I think my pictures are saved to. I really need to get my self hosted Nextcloud finally figured out, and/or some self hosted picture thing. I decided to pay for some Canadian cloud host for Nextcloud but self hosting would probably be better for me.
How can you be fine with hosting your pics in ANY cloud at all? I totally consider those highly private and worthy of protection from prying eyes.
No judgment though, just curious.
That was just the default that comes with iPhones. I am planning on getting another small nvme drive for one of my pi 5’s and hosting it there or maybe a small ssd.

Ah then I got it wrong. Don’t forget backup. The importance of those pictures often rises with the years, equally to the regret of loosing them 😊
