The AVT (atmospheric-vacuum oil distillation) unit was hit.

The unit was reconstructed in 2012 - within the framework of modernization of processing heavy Yarega oil. After the update its annual capacity is up to 2 million tons of raw materials per year (previously - about 1 million t).
AVT performs primary oil refining with the production of:
🟠mazut.
🟠diesel fuel.
🟠vacuum gas oil.
🟠raw materials for bitumen production.Hit of such a unit directly affects the output of heavy oil products and road bitumens, as well as subsequent chains of deeper processing.
They hit the tower? Perfect!!! Shut that site down and probably can’t be repaired!
