Can anyone explain how you might take extreme heat damage when you have an S class heat mod and a full bar of heat shield? Everything was charged up and I suddenly died to 2 ticks of heat damage. The only thing I couldn’t think to check in my panic was my life support… But the messaging was clearly extreme heat damage so I just felt totally confused.
My last permadeath save got deleted. I didn’t think to restore it nor did I do so because it was clear I has gotten myself killed fairly. I let it go and started again. I honestly started Perma because it was too easy to load an older save on survival. At least on Perma I have to go to the effort of digging out an old backup. I just want the most meaningful session I can get. Being killed by bugs honestly should not count.
I wish it didn’t require discipline because I do see myself just going back to my survival save the next time a bug kills me
Well the nice thing about the game is it can be tailored to almost any game style.
