    What is labor aristocracy?

      It’s basically like a portion of the working class that has been bought off by the capitalists with the spoils of imperialism. Lenin used the idea to explain why Marx’s prediction that revolutions would start in the most industrialised nations failed.

      He also used it to explain why other socialist parties in WW1, sided with their imperialist governments and why reformism is much more favoured over revolution in much of the industrialized West (like Europe even today).

      Some people (like the one in the screenshot) take this idea to the extreme though and claim all “workers” in the West are ‘evil’, or not even working class, which are ridiculous claims.
