As I understand it, Goat only bans for explicit misinformation and the like.
I only ban if they’re legitimately trolling, spamming silly images, and pinging random people, then pretending they never pinged them.
Tankies know they can come into this community and do as you described, but they don’t, since they know they’re wrong and will be proven wrong. They can’t risk their usual talking points being countered without a tankie mod banning the person countering.
In other communities, I’d agree. In a community dedicated to exposing their lies? I think I see it as a “give them enough rope to hang themselves” situation.
Honestly, they get downvoted and mocked into oblivion, while simultaneously demonstrating the purpose of this community. Why ban them?
