Um … Dumb question maybe but why is the motto “Go Beyond” for border agents? Like they aren’t supposed to go beyond anything. They have a narrow margin of jurisdiction along the margins of their own country. Going beyond that is an infringement of sovereignty of a foriegn power.

Shouldn’t their motto be more like “Follow the god-damn rules to the letter or else provoke an international incident”?
