I’m betting on this being an engagement tactic. She wants the most engagement for her 41st bday PhoToShOoT so she’s not wearing her ring (just like Ariana) and then will post her photos. She’s such a narc. (Which I use sparingly as I am in mental health- but she’s def got signs)
If someone else is waiting in the wings that can feed her ego and has access to things that will get her more attention that I’d say 💯 (just like she did with Shane and her first marriage- he was in IT and got her a job with Forkly- etc) but as someone else pointed out his aesthetic doesn’t serve her anymore (hipster/ craft beer/ beard/ nerdy) she’ll move into someone else. She definitely has a pattern of this behavior with friends and significant others alike. You’re likely onto something!
