Some really good movies that, unfortunately, hinge on pretty big plot holes
Inside Out: probably one of the greatest animated movies ever, but why didn’t they just send the core memories back up the tubes? The best explanation I can think of is that Joy is a control freak and thinks she needs to deliver them herself.
Meet the Robinsons: not as popular as Inside Out but I personally consider it great. The time travel rules make no sense though. Lewis going back in time and startling his birth mother while she left him at the orphanage, implies the whole thing was a stable time loop and was always supposed to happen that way but somehow he was able to completely change what happened to Goob at the baseball game
Mr Crocket: as far as horror movies go, it’s one of my favourites though it scared me too much to watch again. But the whole thing hinges on a big plot hole. Mr Crocket is in the habit of brutally murdering parents and taking their kids. Our hero is a mom trying to get her kid back from him. But why didn’t he kill her when he took her kid? There is no explanation given for why he spared her.
