This is totally standard bullshit by the way. The OLP gov’t did the same before them. So did the federal gov’t of Harper. It’s in the interest of every party to advertise itself using public money while in gov’t.

Well that’s fair. What did the OLP do? I remember seeing a bunch of blue and IIRC even branded road signs (eg describing the road project) go up right after the election, they weren’t replacing partisan signs.
I don’t recall exactly but there was a scandal about it.
