Is it really that crucial? I understand that on reddit the default experience was the 6th level of hell, but on lemmy I’ve been doing just fine with lemmy ui as a PWA.
It does help to not be on a large instance though, as things there seem to lag a bit.
I just installed Infinity for Lemmy and it looks pretty good so far. It’s still at a very early stage, but it has the nice look & feel of Infinity for Reddit.
It needs a solid app like Apollo was for Reddit to help it keep active users.
Voyager (apollo clone) just launched it’s app on android and ios. And we also have memmy, which is great. So I think we’ve got that covered.
Sync and Infinity just launched…
Sync is what made me finally use Lemmy regularly.
Unfortunately those are android clients. Apollo was an iOS client. Voyager looks pretty good though…
