Pluribus is the new show from Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul. The marketing on this show was so vague that it was intended to be watched completely blind, with nobody knowing what it was even about.
A better explanation is that they don’t want to hurt anything. They mentioned stepping on an insect accidentally without causing seizures.
one plot arc would be to use the power of causing seizures in order to gain power over the world, though the French guy is certainly finding his best life without corruption.
