    Can someone educate me a bit about the US’s political laws. Is it legal to campaign for votes by threatening the voters? 🤔

        Oh there is. There is no rule of law, no equity of law, but there is law. And it will be used as harshly and aggressively as possible on the poor, minorities, Democrats, the press, universities, etc.

            True. It’s partially just a dropping of pretenses, but to keep up those pretenses we sometimes had to have justice. Now that the act is gone I’m afraid the small bit of justice the disenfranchised did have is gone with it.

      Sadly, as long as it’s not an openly direct threat which can’t be interpreted any other way, our “free speech” laws will usually provide the cover to allow it. Even if Cuomo said “I’ll kill any Democrat who doesn’t vote for me,” there’s a very strong chance he’d get away with it because the target of his threat is still too vague to be taken seriously.
