    I guess if you are not Canadian it might be confusing, it is a very common term here.

      “snowbird” is also used in northern US, florida is probably the most common snowbird destination for michiganders (from what I hear, I’m not allowed that far south)

        Ya, eastern Canadians go to Florida, western Canadians head to Arizona. Well, at least they used to.
