When it comes to ICE invading the Sunshine state, “Shoot to kill” DeSantis tells Floridians.
Freshly after passing permitless open carry, Florida governor Ron DeSantis now calls upon patriotic Floridians to defend the state against invasion by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). “It’s communism” he says, “we don’t do communism here.”
Immediately double-checked that I read the community name right, as well. Shit’s getting more bizarre than I could ever have dreamed.
ETA: Kind of a brilliant move if he’s looking to try for president again, tho. With a not insignificant number of MAGAts starting to question what Trump’s doing, DeSantis is positioning himself well as an alternative that’s just about as extreme, but ever so slightly less insane. To bad for him that I expect the MAGAt base will have shrunk noticably by the time the next presidential election rolls around. Trump’s due to kick off this mortal coil, and that’s gonna cause divisions in choosing who their next “savior” should be.
