Hi, I’m here because of the amazing decisions from Reddit. One of the more useful functions of Reddit were to keep up with my local community. I haven’t found such a community here, but I did on Midwest.social.
I noticed that we are able to subscribe to beehaw communities. How do I subscribe to communities on Midwest.social?
Should also note to do this from the web, not the lemmur or jerboa app. The app search functions don’t tend to pick up newer communities for quite some time if your home instance isn’t already linked with them (ie if no one on lemmy.ca is following and interacting with a community on lemmy.world)
