Waving signs at Nazis is less about doing anything to the Nazis and more about gathering support to oppose them. Of course, it has to be followed up with more than sign waving at some point. If there aren’t enough people the movement will get strangled in the crib but if we wait too long there won’t be anything left to save

Putting off one inevitable while speeding toward the other is making the task at hand much more difficult and deadly. I’d prefer to get on with it.
